Create AI Post for Social Media for Shoe Store
Shoes are a hard product to post. They are small in the frame, easy to get wrong, and people want to see them from five angles before buying. Here is how to create an AI post for social media for a shoe store using a simple shot list rather than guesswork.
The five-angle rule
Every pair deserves these five pictures, and each one answers a question:
- Side view: the profile and the sole thickness.
- Three-quarter view from the front: the toe shape.
- Top-down: the laces, the tongue and the opening.
- Sole: the grip and the brand mark.
- On foot: the fit with real clothing.
You do not need all five for every post. A carousel can carry three. A single post should carry the angle that sells.
Side view of a white leather low-top trainer on a pale grey concrete floor, soft overhead light, a clear soft shadow, no other objects, clean and minimal. Square 1:1.
Match the shoe to the street
A boot on a gravel path, a sandal on warm stone, a running shoe on wet tarmac. The setting tells the buyer when they will wear it.
Pair of tan leather chelsea boots standing on a cobbled street after rain, golden evening light reflecting in puddles, a hint of autumn leaves, boots in sharp focus. 4:5 post.
What goes wrong with shoes
Check carefully, because this category fails in particular ways:
- Laces in the wrong pattern, or too many eyelets.
- Left and right shoes that look like the same shoe twice.
- A sole shape that does not match your product.
- Logos on the tongue or heel that are invented.
If a pair is your real stock, attach a photo of it as a reference and describe the new setting, not the shoe. Never publish a picture of a model you do not carry.
Size and stock posts
Customers ask about sizes in comments. A post that says "Sizes 36 to 46 back in stock" with a clean photo of the pair helps. If you put the numbers inside the picture, double-check each one. Short lines on a plain background are easiest to get right. The article on adding text to AI images that people can read shows how to word these.
Styling posts
Shoes sell more with an outfit. Crop at the knee, show the trousers hem and the shoe, and leave the rest to the imagination. It keeps the shoe large and the story simple.
Cropped photo from knee down: a person in straight dark jeans with a neat hem wearing chunky black leather loafers and white socks, walking on a light stone floor. Tall 3:4.
Tie it to the brand
Put your colours, type and logo rules into brand guidelines once. Then name the brand with @ and the logo is placed as your guidelines allow. For a hero shoe you sell all year, keep the same product in every AI image.
Doing it in Melon Cut
In Melon Cut Design, switch to Social and pick post, story, square or tall 3:4. Attach a photo of your pair, describe the scene, and name your brand with @. One prompt makes up to 4 pictures so you can compare settings quickly.
