Create AI Post for Social Media for Pizzeria

Pizza is already a visual food. The challenge for a pizzeria is not making it look good; it is making your pizza look different from everyone else's. This guide on how to create an AI post for social media for a pizzeria covers the shots people respond to and how to describe them.

Know what you are selling

Before you write a prompt, decide which of these your pizzeria is:

  • Neapolitan. Blistered crust, minimal toppings, a wood-fired oven.
  • New York slices. Big foldable slices, a counter, a paper plate.
  • Deep dish or pan. Thick, cheesy, cut with a knife.
  • Delivery-first. The box, the speed, the family night.

The same word "pizza" in the prompt will give you the generic version. Name the style.

Five shots that work for a pizzeria

The oven

Flames and a peel. It says "made now".

A wood-fired pizza oven with bright orange flames, a pizza maker sliding a margherita pizza onto the floor of the oven with a long wooden peel, dark restaurant behind, warm glow.

The pull

Cheese stretching from a slice is the classic. Ask for it directly.

A hand lifting a slice of pepperoni pizza from a whole pizza, a long string of melted mozzarella stretching down, dark wooden table, close view, steam rising.

The overhead

A whole pizza from above, on a board, with a side of basil and chili oil. Good for menu-style posts.

The box

For delivery, show the closed box, then the open box. Your brand colours on the box make a recognisable image.

The slice offer

A close picture of one slice, with space beside it for the deal. Check the text carefully, as prices and times must be exact.

Match the post to the night

Friday and Saturday evenings are your peak. Post on Thursday for the weekend. On slow nights, use a deal. Do not state prices in the picture unless you have double-checked every digit.

Use stories for tonight

A story (9:16) is right for "ovens are lit" or "last two large pizzas of the night". Keep any text inside the safe area so it is not covered by app buttons.

Vary the toppings

If your feed is five pepperoni pizzas, people stop looking. Rotate: a white pizza, a vegetable pizza, a spicy one, a dessert pizza. Describe each topping by name and colour so the picture matches the menu. A picture that shows toppings you do not serve will cause complaints.

Doing it in Melon Cut

Open Melon Cut Design, switch to Social and choose 4:5 for feed posts or 9:16 for stories. One prompt can give up to 4 pictures. Name your pizzeria brand with @ so the logo, colours and fonts follow your guidelines, then check each picture against the real pizza before you post it.
